Grizzly bears are on the protected species list with only 1,500 still living in the lower 48 states of the US and 31,000 living in Alaska’s great wilderness. So, it makes perfect sense to make a move wherein a grizzly bear is made out to be the bad guy for killing poachers and just doing what a grizzly is known to do--which is protecting its natural habitat.
This week, Real Horrorshow is wandering into The Grizzly Maze, a 2015 direct-to-streaming horror film starring James Marsden, Piper Perabo, someone from the Vampire Diaries, Bill Bob Thornton...And, of course, the wonderful grizzly bear himself: Bart the Bear.
What a great movie to discuss on Earth Day. Fuck protected species, am I right?

Episode Summary
We are back again this week to talk about the second half of Season 2 of The Vampire Diaries. We find out the werewolf / vampire hybrids exist and that Stefan will do anything he can to save his brother. And the bloodbath in Mystic Falls continues with the death of Elena’s birth father and her legal guardian, Jenna. And oh no! Jeremy also has a close encounter with death--luckily Bonnie is able to rescue him with her witch magic. But, it looks like his love life is about to get more complicated with the ghosts of his past coming for a visit.
Sam and Stormy also pick their movie for next week: Into the Grizzly Maze, starring James Marsden and Billy Bob Thornton. There are some other people in there too, but they’re the only ones that matter. Sorry, Piper Perabo.

This a re-broadcast of our 2018 April Fool's episode where we review "Monster High" which is the first movie in the rebooted Monster High franchise. Since the episode, I have since learned that this reboot was VERY controversial in the Monster High fandom. We still liked it though. Probably because we had no prior relationship to the brand.

This week, we’re reviewing 2018’s “Hell Fest,” a simple slasher brought to us by the executive producer of ‘The Walking Dead’ (which probably means something to someone). The film follows a group of friends as they’re stalked by a serial killer through, you guessed it, a popular Hell Fest.
We also talk briefly about the new ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ movie and whether or not ‘Leatherface’ is the unsung hero of the franchise. Lol. Just kidding. ‘Leatherface’ is terrible and you’re terrible for liking it.

She also asks Stormy about whether or not it was normal when a current candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates made her handle two severed cow hooves for a haunted trail back in 2010. Spoilers: it wasn’t.
They also talk about the first half of the second season of Vampire Diaries. Things really start to heat up when Katherine shows up to make this love triangle more quadrilateral. And just when things start going back to normal and Stefan and Elena can make out in peace, a new enemy arrives with the threat of a CW Spinoff.
